This course introduces natural language processing at a basic level.
1. Basic concepts of syntax, semantics, and grammar formalisms
2. Basic techniques of language modelling, part-of-speech tagging, parsing, and semantic analysis
3. Well-known applications of natural language processing, such as machine translation and information extraction, and their evaluations
