Can clear as GERPE-LA I think. New syllabus and we were the guinea pigs. Honestly, this was a minimum effort maximum output kind of class. Also, the lecturer kinda has a thing for people not using their laptops but only using paper and pen? I still did use my laptop tho and sat really far away.

There’s only about 10 lectures or so, instead of the usual 12. Attend ALL lectures and pay attention, he literally reads off the slides so it will get boring but the content is pretty interesting (at least to me).

He WILL give surprise pop quizzes (about 4 of them 5% each so that’s around 20%). Thus, please attend all lessons. On the bright side, the quizzes are super easy. You just have to spend an hour going through the lecture he taught the previous week. It’s almost like comprehension: question and answer. This is really the place to score.

Participate in class (20% includes attendance too). This is abit trickier than biz law cause in this class you’re in a lecture theatre so when you speak everyone WILL turn to look at you. However, just ignore and speak up, there are some interesting discussions and questions you will engage in. He also urges people to ask question and will note down your name every time you speak in class but please don’t ask questions for the sake of asking… some people did that in class and it really wasted a lot of time.

Lastly, exam is 60%. It’s a mixture of short answer questions mostly definition/understanding based something like the quizzes but in greater detail. And 2 essays. I think the essay is where people differentiate themselves. He will give clues so try to formulate broad questions around those clues and answer them on your own.

I actually did skip 2 classes towards the end. Just time it appropriately so you don’t miss the pop quizzes. If you’re looking for your easy A. This is it!!!!
