When I told my friends I was taking this to clear GERPE-BM everyone asked if I was going to SU this. I was like no? Most of them gave me disgusted looks. I can see why.. the content is really ALOT. But it’s open book so no fear!!

Do not be late (especially if your prof is ram), speak up and participate in class (20%!!!) read the material before hand, print the lecture notes and take notes in class (will be very helpful as it is an open book paper). There will be a midterm quiz that is MCQ and closed book (20% if I’m not wrong). Important to score well on that to secure a decent score!

Lastly, practice the exam questions and prepare a template, anticipate the questions and you’ll be fine. Just a heads up, you need to write very quickly. If you’re looking to clear and easy GERPE-BM, don’t take this. I would reccomend BU8501 Marketing in the 21st Century. Will talk about it later.

Halfway through the module, I was all like, f*ck it, I’m going to S/U this module. But then I got back my class participation marks during the very last tutorial class. B+. Dafuq? I didn’t actually participate in class at all and only did my compulsory group presentation (which I think I might have nailed? ’cause my table mate who didn’t participate at all too got a B). Now I’m not sure whether to S/U it or not. Probably not.

    Exam format:
    20% Class participation
    80% Finals (Essays)

Here’s how to score an A+ for this module (if you end up in the compulsory presentation class):
    -Do your class presentation properly
-Participate in class a few times
-Do your tutorials diligently – at least touch on the concepts
    -Attend lectures
